WE ALL NEED A BIT OF HELP SOMETIMES

Are you...

  • Finding it increasingly hard to cope

  • Having issues in your relationship, but are unsure how to move forward

  • Feeling anxious, lonely or sad

  • Struggling with problems in your family - is there a breakdown of communication

However overwhelmed you feel, these issues are common and can happen at any stage in a person's life.

Talking to a therapist can help.

THERAPY CAN HELP YOU TO...

GET CLARITY ON YOUR ISSUES

Helping you to make sense of how you're feeling.

1

UNDERSTAND THE CAUSE

Working out when the problems started and how they grew.

2

CREATE A SOLUTION, TOGETHER

Collaboratively finding the best way to move forward, for you.

3

WHAT TO EXPECT.

A DIALOGUE
Many people worry counselling means they're expected to do all the talking. As part of my approach we'll discuss your issues and work through them together.
And if you ever find it hard to talk, there's lots of ways for us to understand your issue through different techniques, exercises and activities.
AN APPROACH TAILORED TO YOU
There's no 'one way' for you to work through this, and no strict process I follow.

As part of working together, we'll find the most effective, comfortable way for
you to get to where you want to be.
A JUDGEMENT-FREE ZONE
Creating a safe environment where you feel understood is crucial to a successful counselling relationship.
No matter how judged you may feel in your day to day life, you will always be able to leave that at the door.
TOTAL SUPPORT & CONFIDENTIALITY
I'm here to ensure you always feel completely supported as you work through your issue.

And because trust is a fundamental part of that support, every conversation we have is held in complete confidence.

BACKGROUND

Before becoming a counsellor, I've lived abroad, been a full-time mum to two children, and worked in a high-pressured job in finance.

MY APPROACH
I believe the foundation of any successful counselling relationship is collaboration, transparency and trust.

I work in a flexible, open and conversational way built around what will work best for you.

My clients tell me I create a very safe, relaxed and non-judgmental space. They say I'm easy to talk to, a good listener, and that however they felt at the beginning of the session, they always leave in a better place.

In my time as a counsellor I have helped clients with issues including addiction, body image, depression and bereavement.

A full-list of issues I can help with can be found here
